The HetCatFlow project (Enabling the use of heterogenous catalyst powders in wall-less flow reactors) aims to revolutionize heterogeneous catalysis by developing a novel method for use in continuous flow reactors. The innovative approach relies on reactors with liquid walls, created through magnetic confinement of immiscible magnetic fluids, rather than traditional solid walls. This enables the use of catalyst powders in small-scale continuous flow reactors, overcoming current issues like sedimentation and clogging.
